Just doing my job !

Captured this little beast on top of Notre Dame, Paris. There were so many to choose from, but I liked the definition of the muscles and other features in this one.

Especially liked his legs and claws. His timid look, to my eyes, made him a little different from his other Gargoyle friends..

Nikon D300 / Nikon 18-70mm lens / F4.5 1/2000 sec ISO200

Woah! oh wow, I freaking love this! There’s such a great mood to the way you have shot this mate. Totally agree with the look of him, so distinct and apparently aware of its surroundings. Protector of the cathedral, or spy?

Awesome capture, I love gargoyles but as the critters are usually sitting on high looking down I can never gat a good shot of them. This is awesome.

  • hologram replied

Same here, I love their faces, they always look so indignant and horrified that you’re looking at them, sort of “how dare they” lol.
Many thanks for a visit, appreciated very much,
