Dinner Time by

“Why don’t echidnas get sick?”

“Because they are full of ’antibodies”.

Out in our boat, we spotted something floating in the water about half way across a 2km wide river…. it turned out to be our little friend here, the echidna. He kindly let me photograph him before we took him to the bank
where he meandered quietly back into the scrub.

Goodness, they swim?? What a lucky echidna to be found by you. Love the work you’ve done here! I found this from “mybubble”…..gotta love it :)

  • Thanks so much Mel. Yes we were surprised to see him in the water too. He wasn’t much of a swimmer and was breathing bubbles for quite awhile after rescuing him.

There’s no way you’d guess that this fella had been photographed in the water!
    Top work, Holly!
    You excel yourself!

  • Thanks Robbie! I actually photographed him in a white bucket turned on its side. There was no way we were picking him up by hand! ouch! lol
