“Somebody” got you they took you away…
And I’ll never forget every detail of that day!

The moment I realized you were really
gone…I prayed that they’d find you! Lord
“Please don’t take them very long.”

The police, family & friends were all
searching for you…
But as days turned to weeks we didn’t
know what else to do!

Slowly all the people seemed to fade
all away…
All was left was the memory’s which you
gave to me & our plans for the future that
ended that day!

I spent each new day remembering all the
things that we did & all the things that we said!
But I cried every night as I asked God to “protect
you” as I layed in my bed.

The lives of so many were affected that day!
And I’ll never stop wondering why somebody
took you away!

Well that night of not knowing has now turned into
over 28yrs…
But sometimes my memories of you can still bring
me to tears!!!
