A very beautiful winter scene Holly!
Love this, it has a sepia quality to it that really suits the subject. The pathway through the center draws the eye into the picture and the trees frame it nicely. It has a timeles quality about it Holly….excellent shot!
Lovely image, agree with the points Jon has made and add that I think it would convert well to mono too…:)
Good idea Michael. I’ll give it a try in b&w and thanks for the suggestion.

I love these soft colours and am most impressed by all that snow.
AWESOME, Very Beautiful
AWESOME, Very Beautiful
I love the colour too but I agree b/w would also be beautiful! It’s a classic Holly! Beautiful in the white matt!
thanks for putting up the B&W version. It has changed the feel for the whole picture. Much more cold and stark. and i feel it brings out the pathway and draws the eye along as Jon mentioned.
the colours of the original add warmth and a nice contrast to the snow. I really like them both.
Holly, just wonderful image. If this makes sense…………….I can hear the stillness. Beautifully composed and your treatment of it is flawless. Hopefully, while I am sitting here in the road ‘listening’ to the stillness, a car won’t come along!
