The pottery series continues. After a visit to my daughter’s, I came home with quantities of it to photograph. She’s obviously a trusting soul….I think she expects me to return it. :-)
hahah – I love your description! I wouldn’t return it!! It’s beautiful! I love that big bowl! wow! And once again, you have showcased her beautiful work with such “a plumb” !!!! hehehe – sorry – couldn’t resist!
Are you old enough to remember Razzle Dazzle? Howard the Turtle? He told ‘groaners’ too! :-D :-D (good one though!) Thanks friend!
Don’t listen to Jan she’ll get you into hot water every time. But then the family loan plan does have the best interest rate going. No sure if I’m salivating over the berries or the art….maybe 50 50.
If I keep these Jan might be getting a cut Von….vested interest. :-D
Just gorgeous, I look forward to seeing the finished collection (calendar?).
Thanks Barb! I think there will be a calendar. At the moment the goal is to make a book so my daughter has a portfolio of her work but a calendar is also something we’re thinking of doing.
Hi Holly! does your daughter know you have grown attached to the pottery, she probably grows very anxious each time you take it home with you lol. Another stunning composition – your colours and lighting are fabulous…. the pottery is very classic and compliments the fruit very well, so a great joint effort….wonderful capture!!
She’s getting the idea Kate…in fact I half expect her to kidnap my camera equipment as a hostage exchange. :-) Thank you for the lovely comment! :-)
Holly, so captivating an image. It has an earthy elegance to it. The pottery gifts from the clay of the earth, and the fruits from the trees of the earth. Gorgeous lighting is integrated beautifully. Another superb work!
Thanks Carolyn….what a lovely comment. It’s been a bit of a struggle to get back in the swing of things so this was a start. :-)
WOW! What lovely pottery…I don’t blame you for wanting to keep it..lol And what an outstanding photo. WOW I love this. Wish I could do something like this with my pottery. You may have given me some inpiration. I want to do some with Apples, because my daughters kitchen is all Apples. I would love for mine to come out looking like this.. I love the lighting and dof. You did fantastic with the bg too. Excellent work.
Thank you so much for such a fullsome comment Cheri….I appreciate this very much! Have fun and good luck with those apples. :-D
