Harbour Dawn for Carolyn Staut by Holly Cawfield
As I was leaving the house very early this morning, I left with a wish and a prayer that I would take an image specifically as a gift for Carolyn Staut. As some of you may know, she is facing a time of great difficulty right now and I just wanted to be able to give her a gift. Because I usually take floral photographs I suppose I thought I would find a special flower for her but it was the lakeshore that drew me today.
When I saw the utter calmness of the water all I could think of was the way Carolyn’s faith has given her an opportunity during this crisis to truly live the words, “Peace, be still.”
Carolyn, soon you’ll be back and showing us your most wonderful work….and I can hardly wait to see what you create after having come through the fire with God’s hand on your life.
