stop grasping
it will never last for ever
but when it’s here
it can be as beautiful
as ever
stop grasping
your reins are
harnessing me in
i am much better left
to run with the wind
stop grasping
containment
makes me die
but even just a touch of air
brings me so alive
stop grasping
for my home is
in my heart
and if you keep me there
in you
i am part of you
for always

so much in this what a word grasping any i know how you feel trying to be yourself in a twosome can be hard
..it’s not just in that sense…we often want others to stay and make us happy but it is up to us to create this and share it, not expect it…we don’t even know we’re doing it most of the time-it gets masked a ‘love’ occasionally :)…i’m just as big a cluprit as anyone at times!!!

wow pretty intense write and maybe the butterfly can be released from the net xx
it’s funny how some relationships set us free while others chain us in

Beautiful thoughts and lovely write, hollyann.
Agreed…none of us can actually hold on to Love.
:)
we are a part of each other forever…as long as we don’t hold too tightly
it’s like a bar of soap-hold too tight and it slips from our hands; hold too loose and it falls away…got to get it just right!! :)

This a powerful thought, clinging too tightly. Insecurity tends to make people hold on too tightly to someone else. Possesiveness, is the beginning of losing someone. I really like this one. Thank-you. May God bless you. :)
thanks so much matty
