Thanx Kristen! I love my 50 mm, it’s the cheaper one, but I love it! I really want the 35 mm 1.4, but it’s like 1,300.00. Funny you comment on the clarity, cause I’m always having focus issues. I can’t seam to get great clarity unless it’s a close-up. Do you know of any sort of AP/ depth of field chart?

when i shoot with my 50mm, i usually have it wide open at 1.4 to get the creamy bokeh… not sure about a DOF chart… i’m itching to buy the carl zeiss 24-70mm f/2.8… now THAT is the lens for creamy bokeh too and movement… it’s a pretty penny as well, $1600.00… i’m seriously considering splurging ;-p have you looked at the 85mm as well? fixed lenses bother me sometimes… i’m much more a zoom girl especially when shooting outdoors…

Yeah, I usually keep it at 1.4 too, but it seams that as I get further away from the subject, the shot doesn’t look as sharp. So, I’ve been trying to figure out if maybe the AP should be smaller as the dof gets larger.. lol.. IDK. Maybe it’s just that I need a better camera :) Oh, & yes.. I would love to have the 85 as well. The 24-70 seams perfect if it’s as sharp as the fixed lenses. Let me know what you think if you get it :)
