Love the emotion. Great pic.

Fantastic use of grain and texture here… Really helps to portray the mood you’ve so expertly captured. Although the gloomy shades prompt us to reflect more on darker tones, the stillness of her stance leaves just enough room for the viewer to interpret the scene for themselves, which only helps to strengthen the emotion :-)

Personally, when i look at this image i see two very different scenes… On the one hand i see a young girl totally absorbed and engrossed by the majesty of the deep vast ocean. I can see her imagination escaping wildly, what could possibly be out there? What worlds await?

And yet… another part of me sees a troubled girl feeling somewhat comforted by the emptiness the ocean provides. Life is often very confusing and yet whilst staring out into the horizon everything seems to make sense…
