My name is Hollie. I’ve always been interested in photography. I remember looking through a “how to” book as a kid wishing I had a camera. My first camera was at about the age of 10. It was a poloroid. Instant results for an impatient kid!
My first real camera was a Canon SLR. But I really took more interest in taking pictures in the beginning of 2008 when as a gift, I received an Olympus SLR Digital. Imagine my surprise! Since then, I’m really starting to take off.
I’m self- taught. Mainly by a lot of reading and admiring other works from other photographers. I suppose I’ll be doing this for the rest of my life…it’s become my “therapy”.
I’ve noticed that a lot of photographers add a line or two about the photo, shutter speed and their motive behind it. The idea of doing this has always made me nervous. I’m not so keen on this. I point and shoot what catches my eye and what I think is beautiful…sometimes, there are no words to describe it…
~ I have always been very interested in photography. I have looked at far more photographs than I have paintings. Because their reality is stronger than reality itself.
