Now at first glance this may look like a small group of Stags but if you have a closer look you will actually recognise this as a picture of the, until recently thought extinct, Lesser spotted Blue tree Haggis. These rare Scottish animals were rediscovered in a pit bog also know as Glasgow in the early 1970’s and as they are chameleon like masters of disguise have remained a rare sight in the Scottish lowlands. Considered a delicacy and hunted almost to extinction during their mating season which peaks on January 25th every year where they can be found listening to old Rabbie Burns songs. These small and normally timid animals are making a small comeback.
Or it might really be a small group of stags taken at Beecraigs nature park in west lothian.
