I only need one foot
To stand beside of you
I believe I walk much better
In someone else’s shoes
I only need one hand
To reach out to you my friend
I believe what we do today
Will return to us in the end
I only need one eye
But I have no need of ears
I believe half of what I see
And nothing that I hear

Erika .

This one is so tender. I absolutely love it. Nice short but to the point about being a true friend. xoxo Iris

Poignant yet sad. We’re surrounded by false pretense and deception in many ways and in many instances. Who know what to believe anymore?

Very true Helen a lovely poem with a great message, but something about it bothers me, if you were one-eyed you would likely become a republican ;-)
