I read a word
it was not a big word
four letters
no more
but this word
though not a big word
had power
to hurt
I wrote a word
a really big word
four letters
no less
and this word
was such a big word
with power
to heal

Beautifully crafted Helen, delicately structured.
says to me love more, hate less, heal hurt .
H M Bascom replied
We teach our children that there are bad words, not to be spoken. Then the children grow up, and it seems some of them remember only the bad words. sigh
We should speak, write, act kindly to one another. And if we can’t be kind, at least be respectful.
Thank you Matt.
