On my way to the mountain
I will trample your hate under foot

On my way to equality

On my way to freedom

I will endure the gauntlet

I will reach that mountain
Not with your help

Not missing a step
By my own strength of will
Despite stumbling blocks
Thrown onto the road to freedom
By those who fear a free and equal people

I will ascend to the summit

When I stand on that pinnacle
And look down below
I will not turn a blind eye
To your pitiful struggle
To reach the great heights
On this mountain called Libertas
I will lift you up
To stand strong with me
I will raise my voice with yours
My enemy and my friend
