….dedicated to Carla…the only one I know who loves and appreciates snakes! Every time I hike with my daughter, she spots a snake….When I hike alone I pray that I won’t see any ….and I DON’T!

    WOOOOWHOOOOO!
What a gorgeous garter it is! Why don’t more people appreciate innocent and harmless verminators like this??? :o)
I feel priviledged every time I find one. Thanx Rusty!

I saw my first of the season snake yesterday! hoping to find it again today {when I have my camera}!

  • I’d be happy to see NO MORE snakes for the rest of the season. I’m surprised at how many folks like them!

Brilliant capture Rusty, you were very brave being face to face with him.

  • Thanks for your comment….I wasn’t THAT close…lol. My camera has a decent zoom. I’m really not brave at all :-)

Wow a scary looking critter great capture:)

  • I can appreciate a snake from a nice distance. It was probably only 2 feet long …not aggresive and not poisonous.
