British Sea Power by HJIrvine

Available to buy on…

A collage of a few photos of the most excellent British Sea Power taken at the Liquid Room in Edinburgh. The first gig I have been to in decades and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Individual photos will also be available as soon as I can get round to uploading them :)

Great collage, Hamish. I’m afraid I haven’t heard of these guys, though. I was fortunate to see this gentleman on Saturday night, my first concert I’ve been to in years, too, if you don’t count my annual pilgrimage to the Tremblant Blues Festival. An amazing performer. My young nephew was in awe and I was pretty impressed, too.

  • Thank you Mike – for the comment and the link – that guy really can sing!

I just checked them out on youtube. Not bad at all! They reminded me a little of the Psychedelic Furs.

Like Mike, I’d never heard of this band, but I, too, checked YouTube. I imagine it was some fine concert! The footage in the ‘Man of Aran’ vid is compelling ~ music fits it perfectly. Also liked the intriguing video of ‘No Lucifer’. Mike also pointed me at Matt Andersen… love the whole BIG package! Well done, Hamish, & the collage looks great. ~ Sheila

  • Thanks Sheila. The Man Of Aran DVD is amazing even without their track :)
