It must look amazing in person. How big is it?
Thanks. It’s pretty small actually, 430mm x 345mm…but quite ‘textural’, and, almost impossible to photograph, but the car and alternating sections of background are heavily gloss coated, with other areas matte…sort of like a spot varnishing type thing…all by hand…fiddly, cheesy???…but it came out kinda cute, framed in a white vintage frame. I’ll be doing a few more variations on this…the ‘Hey Charger!’ tv ad campaign from the early ’70’s left a mark on an impressionable 7 year old car nut!!!
I get it (Hey Charger) now, cool. I just love the look of musclecars. You couldn’t drive one here, bendy little roads and a greedy government ysee. Your work is amazing and I can only imagine how good it looks offline.I’m a proud subscriber to this ladHe mostly only has older stuff but I enjoy his videos and he’s a real nice guy who messaged me to say hi when I subscribed.
