This is a beautiful misty shot. Looks more like Canberra than Sydney! I think the toning makes it appear very dreamy and mystical.

Well, it is not really tinting. The 700nm filter removed most visible light, but a hint of the red spectum passed through, so this is technically IR + a little red on the capture! I haven’t done much post-processing beside increasing the contrast.

Could have remove the natural tint with white balance, but I like the mood!

I think the hues are just gorgeous, It is such a ‘dreamy’ shot, Reminds me of when i am just waking up, coming clear out of the foggy, sleepy haze; perhaps even like you were when you took it!, This is in Sydney?!, That’s so great, to get such a peaceful image out of such a crazy place!-as is any city-even in the early morning. Into my faves it goes.

I am glad that I didn’t take the colour out from the white balance. Hope that the image give you a passage to an old memory you have.
