Tree - Lightpainting
Looking through the bus window on the way home, I see this playful movement of light and dark shades, between leaves and branches. It is a moment to be captured.
Real image with no additional painting… The light painted it on my camera’s ccd sensor!
I have set the camera on manual zoom, manual speed and aperture, so that the motion can be capture on shutter release. Behind the glass window of a moving bus, I hunt for the right angle of sun and the right tree, and follow throught the target like taking an image of a sport player. All about timing and a bit of luck!
Love to see critiques and comments. All welcome.

Thanks Colin, Kimberly, Photogenique, aphoto4you, Helene and nikspix. Glad you like the photo.
BTW it was all in camera manual mode and added contrast in PS. No special effects here. You can even see the reflection of the window from the opposite side of the bus, and feel the suspension of the wheels of the bus on the grass on the bottom of the photo there.
I have been toying with the relative motion between moving vehicles and the surrounding for a little while now. Will upload more later.

It is hard to control the length of exposure. I was very lucky, as this photo didn’t need any tune up or down it brightness or contrast.
normal metering method may not help.

One suggestion to improve it: try to get the camera as close to the window as possible, or shield the reflections somehow. Other than that, nice job.

Thankyou for the suggestion… I will need to zoom closer and get a polarizer then…
