I have been looking out for a candid shot to add to that group. Yesterday I thought I had found it. There was a man walking toward me pushing a wheelbarrow with his car keys dangling from his mouth. I put the camera in position to fire, and he spotted me and waved. End of candid shot!!!

i know what its like, you dont always have to be far away tho as i havent got a camera with different lenses just use my fuji with 10 times optical or most times my samsung 5 times optical, just be sneaky and pretend you are taking something else ive almost been caught out loads of times it adds to the fun lol

LOL. There was a lens I remember seeing back in my 35mm days that through the aid of mirrors you can actually shoot around a corner. So you are pointing at something else and the man is still the shot and he won’t wave at you because the camera is pointing the other way. Just a longwinded way of saying a rightangled lens.
