Straight from my camera for Jan Landers to show her what Blackcurrants look like on the bush, they are like small grapes hanging on the vine, the leaves of the blackcurrant are very similar to the grapevine leaf as well. thought you would like to see them. hugs

Oh boy, we used to grow these in our garden during the war!! I can even remember once taking a very tiny and grainy photo of the bush – almost the first photo I ever took! Honestly Hilary, what with your writings and your photos you really do rekindle old memories for me!! Hugs, Peter
