Giddy... is the word!

Posted 2 months ago

I would just like you all to know that after applying for a Copy Right is enough to make any Author… giddy. I hope to have all my ducks in a row here real soon, and my Publication date or time is at the end of the month of September. I will be listed with, Barnes and Noble.com, Amazon.com, Ingram.com, Books for press.com, and a few others. The title of the book is “FROM A GREATER HAND than mi…

First Book Update

Posted 3 months ago

I have come to a change of heart. I will not use Author House. I am going to be published with Xlibris… and the launch date of my first book,”FROM A GREATER HAND than mine,” should be around the end of December, 2009.
This will be a compendium of religious poetry… a collection I have saved for a life time, mine! I have the second book already done, that will be called,”Of eagles and ostric…

Soon... my first book comes!

Posted 10 months ago

It is with great and humble dreams… to announce my first book project is soon to be completed. My book is entitled “From a greater hand than mine,” and is to be published through Authorhouse Publishing. My first book is a compendium of religious poetry… as I’ve promised my Lord years ago. Actually… I’ve just finished my second book as well… (this one is political) and hope to stay one a…

A message to all...

Posted about 1 year ago

I do have to apologize to everyone, in regards to my comments, and my inability to read more of your works. I’m not yet back on the internet… at home and I’m limited to my time on the computer at the Library. In time all will be back to normal… whatever normal will turn out to be! I thank you all,

Russell Holder

A sincere thank you... all!

It does a heart a world of good to know they will be missed, if even for a short while… knowing there has been an impact or impression made to continue on by legacy. You humble me so kindly with your comments… as was once said… “I’ll be back!”

I PULL THE PLUG TOMORROW!

Posted about 1 year ago

I’ll be gone, for the most part, for 6 weeks… with an occasional pop-in at the Library to see what is going on. To my new friends and poets… strive to keep the good ink flowing, meaningful and poignant. Stay on point or let someone else have the credit… when credit is due. I miss you already!

A Sad ADIEU... for about 6 weeks!

Posted about 1 year ago

I’m getting a new place, and have to take the time to pack things and get ready… computer too. It will be one of the last things to be packed, I hope. A new beginning… if you will. I do hope you’ll miss me as much as I KNOW I will miss you. Happy reading, writing and creating! Most of all… Happy Bubbling!

I will try and stay on as long as I can. If you notice I haven’t responded in a d…

On "Two wings... as if I knew"

I would like to thank everyone that logged in a comment on this particular piece. I do have to tell all of you one thing, though… it is just fiction. I am familiar with this type of sentiment; however, as I was a widower back in 1998… my dedication poem for my first wife is called “The tear and the rose.” The poem I’ve written for my second wife, my wife to be (at the time it was written), ...

Double entries

I must confess my stress
comes from these damn double entries,
something to do with my Apple
and the Modem… I apologize,
but even my wife calls me “a Dork.”
