I’m a Vietnam Era Vet, means I didn’t go but I still care, only because I joined in ‘74’ on the delayed entry plan, went active duty in ‘75,’ in March, and it was declared officially over in May that year. I was an Electronic Warfare Operator, the same equipment that was on the U.S.S. Pueblo and the U.S.S. Liberty… I sat on- that’s right, spy gear! Remember the day, etch it in your mind… June,8th,1967! That was the day the U.S.S. Liberty was attacked by Israel, one of our allies, and it was the day before they went into ‘the Golan Heights!’ Please do not misunderstand me, I do support Israel… as the Bible tells me to, but I do not condone bad conduct by an ally we have supported as a nation. The difference here is decisively monumental.
