New Contrast Tanks have it all. Except sleeves.

Whiskey Radio Wave

You said my name in your sleep
after kissing my tattoos,
and after kissing the spots on my neck
your lips and teeth had
so elegantly bruised.
You said my name like
you didn’t ever want me leave you,
and the truth is
I don’t want to.
So I’d like to think that love
had somehow lost it’s way
and stumble-danced into your mind,
but it’s naive to be hopeful sometimes.
Yet still coasting on
a whiskey radio wave,
I threaded your lovely vertebrae
together with the tip of my finger,
and fell asleep dreaming
you’d say my name that way
when I opened my eyes
in the morning.
