Belt marks

My quivering
is restrained by teeth
until painted red.
will you be my friend?
I am in need of something
to hold on to.
Bruises on my back
and face
sting my eyes when I wake up
in the dark remembering,
with no one.
I am tired of thinking,
and staring at nothing,
still conflicted.

The depth of emotion you have captured with such simple lines is absolute credit to your creative talent.
If this is an open door to your own room I am hoping the nightmare has faded and there is more light now .xx
