one who knows me so well
You understand my thoughts
before I know what I am thinking
You know what path I will take
before I even get out the door
So how can I doubt
There is nothing I can say
that you do not already
know
You have whispered knowledge
in my ear
during times I was filled with fear
So how can I doubt
There is no place I can go
and hide from your Spirit
Whether it is heavenly
or full of strife
You are with me wherever I go
So how can I doubt
From morning to night
your hand leads me
even without my knowing
you are directing my steps
and renewing my mind
So how can I doubt
Search me dear God
Try me and know my anxieties
Give me a great measure of faith
to accept your loving care to know
that all is well
even with one who foolishly doubts
