The end of a season.....
Well the pigeon racing season is now finally over….whew! It was bittersweet, I was both relieved and sad. I really loved the thrill of race day and spending time with the gentlemen in our club, they are some of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Pigeon Season has arrived!
Well if you haven’t noticed by some of my photos my husband and I are pigeon flyers and this is his second year and my first.
I have been spending around 4-6 hours a day training feeding and cleaning up after them.
The racing season started two weeks ago, my first race we came in 30th and on Monday, the second race, we came in 4,5,6,7,8 out of 218 pigeons. I was reeling with excitement.
