This piece was a little challenging.

Have you ever had a thought of a piece of artwork in your mind and you know what you want it to look like but no matter how hard you try it just never seems to look the way you want it to and you finally just surrender to the piece and leave it just as is??

I can honestly say with a lot of my artwork I have felt that way.

However with this piece, it came out exactly how I imagined it and I have to thank the vendors!!

The biggest challenge was Lola and what to wear??? There aren’t many pieces of clothing that are available for her and her age. I searched and search which that alone took a couple of days. I bought Addy’s tutorials on how to create realistic clothing and tried it on other pieces, however that was going to need more practice on my part, Addy your tutorial was amazing!

I love Lola and 3d Celebrity did an awesome job creating her every detail. So what to do. I had Bete Noir and that is what I had originally envisioned for her to wear, but wait that is for V3????

So I used Dark Moods to pose Lola and then I took the Bete Noir Dress and Head peice and posed it to fit Lola. It took me a few hours to get it just right.

I am very happy with this peice as it came out exactly like my dream, which doesn’t happen to often.

Wow – what an amazing storytelling image, it conveys such a wealth of moods and emotions – loneliness, a lingering sadness, contemplation, nostalgia… Love Lola’s clothes and the way you posed her, as well as all the other intricate details that contribute to the mood, such as the extinguished candles in the background and the beautiful slanted light falling in from above. Beautiful artwork, rich in symbolism and meaning – all your hard work certainly paid off!

This is extremely good. The pose is great as is the lighting and the smoke looks like it is real/3d rather than a brush in photoshop. Brilliant work indeed. The clothing choice fits the piece entirely and is extremely well rendered
