Love the pic (and the treatment). I did a colored pencil sketch of a sailor who looked similar to this. I even tried to capture exactly what you wrote here “he just seemed to peer off into the distance of the ocean, and he seem at one with it, like he belonged there.” ......... great pic and set-up!
