Kookaburra's Laugh

I took this pic as well at the zoo, although he wasn’t laughing as they say, he did look rather stately.

Thanks very much, I try not to post anything of mine that isn’t near next to perfect.
With in the past 3 years with my two Canon’s I have taken over 15000 photos give or take. It takes a while to weed through the good and the bad, but I enjoy it.

Thank you for your wonderful comment, it is gestures like that, that makes me want to post.

Wonderful shot of my fav bird..you’ve captured the pretty blues in the wings…sad to think they’re behind a wire fence when they’re sitting in a tree in my backgarden.

most of the animals that come to Roger Williams are injured in some way, and they rehabilitate. I hate to see them be hind cages as well. So I am on the fence, I hate that they are not roaming free, however some people would never get to view such a beautiful creature up close and enjoy their prescence. Maybe it is selfish of mankind.
