Everyone asks me how it’s possible I paint so fast. Firstly, because I work in acrylic, secondly because my pieces are small and average only at 12″ × 10″ pieces. The rest is working with limited colours, knowing my brushes well and I usually only use about 3-4 brushes on most of my pieces. I just have a system of working that is very fast and I just get faster. Though some pieces, with too much detailing I tend to avoid thought my “Sir Camelot” painting with the full bridle and breast plate with all the studs was 9 grueling hours to get those done. I did it because I believed I would never be able to paint that piece. After many years, I did it and it was a fantastic feeling. So, it can be done!
