    HHHmmmm…I’ll look again & think on it. I really appreciate you valuing my opinion, dear! That’s quite a compliment coming from you! I’m always love thinking about what is lacking & what really looks great! I tell you what…I’d also like you to do one just like this, except….I want to see even more of the unicorn’s body! Place it on top of the water. You know it would amaze me if only because of when Jesus was said to have walked on the water. Let me ask you….When you see someone’s photo of them waterskiing….do you like to see part of their legs or all? Maybe it would be fine, too if you at least have 3/4 of the unicorn . It just, frankly looks half cut off. I still like it now. You may not agree with me. That is absolutely fine, dear! Take care!

    You are very welcome, Trudi! The only other thing that I know could perhaps make this sell better would be just the right inspirational message (relating to your obvious theme). I guess I would have a tendency to place it in the darker wave part where it would stand out…as long as it doesn’t take away or demand attention from the beauty that already exists. The words would not have to be all the same size! I would take my time on the trial error & thinking part. If it were me…I would make several copies & play with each copy. Then let them compete with each other. You will win, then!

    lol, this was the original copy then l kept playing with it, the purple probably stands out a bit better than the bronze/green,have swapped them over :-))

    I really do like this image Trudi…I really love your poem. Have you thought about putting the poem (text) on the image? It is such a special part of your overall theme/presentation. This would be awesome to delicately or boldly (whichever way looks best) within the piece. It’s just a thought of mine. You could also place the title in larger letters somewhere….I would love it if you’d do a series of these. I would love to see one on a boogie board on the shoreline! I would also love to see one on a surf board! This is so fun…be sure to do some images with orange, yellow, red & fushia. Oh boy what fun you’ll have playing with all that exciting theme & color. Each one might inspire a certain poem created just by you. This is a real special ongoing project you have going on. Best wishes! I can’t wait to see you grow!

    l am working on variance of colours at this moment and am looking for a suitable wave to put the unicorn on top of, l think you are on to something with having him going over the top lol, l am just deciding whether to have him coming over the top or running along it ,will do both and see which one fits !! changed the colour of this original one to the colour l first did it in ,seems to stand out a little better ,and l covered his feet a little more to blend him with the wave,thanks so much for your input it has really helped me to try to improve the image,all constructive advice is always gratefully recieved :-))

    Wow Trudi… What a response. Well ok it IS a fabulous image. Well it is more than that. It is the idea behind the image. Mystical or fabled creatures, and the infinite sea. Although traditionally one would expect mermaids, water nymphs or Pesideon the appearance of a SEA-HORSE was unexpected. Real equines play in the water as do cattle, so why not our mythical creatures. A challenge with PS you did a pretty good job for a learner. I too consider myself a novice at PS (all those layers!) and from what I’ve read everyone thinks PS is a difficult beast to master when your teaching your self through experimentation.
    Kudos and atta-shelia’s for the concept. Because they are mythical there is no reason Pegasus, or a Unicorn or even an Archer Dude with a horses ass can’t frolic in the sea. Most are portrayed sipping water from a crystal clear shallow pool in the woods under full moon-light.. Lelayna seems to be getting you feedback for the technical side, so I’ll defer any advice on photography or PS her way. Besides with the awards you’ve won on photography, I could learn a thing or two from you. Next you could put a PS created warning sign on a pole at the beach. (You know to warn surfer types not to get impaled on a unicorn spike while catching the waves. LOL Kinda like a Ru crossing sign on the highway. (OK frog crossing, rabbit crossing or any other species crossing the roadway warning sign,,,You’ve got alot of that down under.) Keep up the grand work (always enjoy your portfolio.) :)

    haha thank you so much for your wonderful comment on this image Alex,and big apologies for my late reply !! l have been having so much fun learning layering and textures, it is such a learning curve,it has been great to get feedback and think someone is interested in taking a look,its always so hard to know when you create something whether it is any good or not, and sometimes l have to be a bit brave to put it out for display especially when there is so much wonderful talent on here, l guess though that is how we learn and l am grateful to the friends l have made on here for their opinions,thank you again my friend, and l really like the notion of a surfer being impaled on a unicorn spike …..that is so funny …painful but funny …......:-))
