    I was unfortunately witness to see a large pike rise from the depths of a lake and take a poor little chick a couple of weeks back. All hell broke loose but was over seconds after it started. So sad. A lovely image

    Thanks so much Lu, they are very aggressive and territorial unfortunately, if there are white ones around they will drive them out,thet are having issues with them in the UK where all the natvie swans are being driven from their nesting sites, very sad
