Hello Yellow

We were out for a drive today and went off the beaten track a bit to discover a new area, not much where we drove but a dumping ground for peoples rubbish and the settling ponds for the local sewerage plant hmmmm, but even amongst such revolting human waste beauty can be found if you look for it.
A couple of Yellow tailed Black Cockatoo’s dropped by for an impromptu visit, very unusual for them to be so low down in the tree’s so we got some lucky shots !!

    Excellent shot of one of my favourite birds! They have just vigorously ‘pruned’ a number of indigenous large shrubs in our yard but I don’t mind – I just love their beauty and company! Thank you for sharing this great shot!

    Thanks so much kj, they were chewing cones in the adjacent pine forest which they seem to have a liking for,we were lucky the tree’s are not fully grown otherwise they would have been at the tops of the trees!
