Lower Kalimna Falls , Otways NP Victoria Australia,in a bid to spend more time together my husband and l have been making an effort to get out on weekends and find new places, l had seen this waterfall on RB many times and so we set out on a path of discovery ! One thing we have discovered is how far things are from where you park the car lol….......

But it was worth the walk, my picture does this no justice at all and l really want to see this one after decent rain

Thanks K , it really is worth the walk and there are loo’s and BBQ facilities in the carpark really nicely setup ,l know you are going to enjoy this one, if we go early we can spend more time in there, l am just trying to figure out the best time for the lighting!! xx

Thanks so much John, l just was’nt happy with the light metering, l need a bit more practise, it is a little bit overblown at the top ,overall l was happy with it but there is room for quite a bit of improvement l think !

Hi Ian and thanks for stopping by, yes it was very cool in there but surprisingly apart from the water going over it was quite humid rather than damp,it was a little hard stopping the lens fogging up

Love the use of the slow shutter speed to give the silky effect of the waterfall and the pool. The surrounding area looks very Jurasic. Has a nice private feel to it
