Right after the superstorm Sandy (about a week ago),now another one with snow and 50 mph wind.It wasn’t too bad compared to Sandy, but it was bad enough.
We are ok in my neighborhood, except as you can see the electric wires are lower,we still have electricity, but some people in other parts of the city lost everything with last week hurricane. It’s terrible!

OMG, just what New Yorkers didn’t need right now! I hear that after the initial congratulations and back-slapping between the President and Gov. Christie, FEMA has been scarcely seen around Staten Island. What happened???

  • We have to pray for the people in Staten Island, things were bad after Sandy, now with the snow it’s worst.

Glad you’re OK Henuly. My aunt also lives in Queens (Middle Village) so I can now see what she’s having to put up with.
Is this a typical house for the area?

  • Thanks a lot Trish!

I’m so sorry to hear about the additional trouble you guys are going through. I was watching the news this morning—- how some still don’t have electricity and what hardships they’re enduring. My thoughts and prayers reach out to everyone involved. BUT all in all this is still a lovely picture, I just wish the circumstances were different.

  • Thanks for your prayers and so glad you like the picture Shyll!
    All the best…Henri
