Lillydale Falls. To the North East of Launceston Tasmania lies the wonderful village of Lillydale, this is the gateway to some of the most beautiful scenery in Tasmania. Just East of Lillydale are the stunning Lillydale Falls. Just a short and easy walk from the carpark. This shot was captured with my trusty old Mamiya ZM SLR (nearly 30 years old!) an equally old Mamiya 28mm lens and Fuji Velvia 50, Tripod mounted and very wet shoes. I also used a polarising filter, which I did think was a grave mistake at the time, in such low light, but when converted to B&W , It took on quiet a personally pleasing effect, I hope you like it too.
