This is beautiful. Truly Amber. Wonderful job. She is a beautiful woman.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Plais. She was just a little kid here and yes, she does have amber coloured hair!!
You got a 9 year old to sit still for you?! Beautiful work, lovely eyes and smile.
No way would she have sat still for me to draw her!!!!A friend took a photo of her, just a little one, but because the expression was so great I decided to use it. Thanks so much for your kind words.
Wonderful work Hemalata!!
Thanks so much, Mike!
What a lovely picture Hemalata . Thank you for sharing it with us!
Thank you Glenda. When I drew/painted it, it was my intention to create something that was like a keepsake for her – to show her kids herself as a child. I’m glad you like it.
What a wonderful gift you have given her……. she will treasure it forever!
Thank you Glenda for your sweet words.

She’s 17 now and still looks much the same! I’ll post a picture of her in the next couple of weeks after her Deb. Ball! Do you remember Deb. Balls?
She was a beauty! Wonderful portrait!
Lovely of you to comment on this portrait – I appreciate it. I found it challenging to do, mainly because I had more of a vested interest in it working out!!
