There’s something about chooks – they get into your psyche! I grew up on a farm with lots of chooks and I would spend hours watching them, and love collecting their warm eggs. And they are so funny!
Oh yes! You are so right – chooks do get into your psyche…….. I just love them. A great painting that really shows the postures/body language of these delightful creatures. I especially love the red chook in the corner – the way it’s “eye-ing” the viewer off!
I love chooks… I have a partidge Wyandotte rooster called Kingsley and some assorted hens.You have cleverly painted chook personality here….lovely work!
Thank you Estelle. I would love to be able to have chooks wandering around in my backyard! I think I would spend heaps of time photographing and painting their quirky antics!!

My Mum’s had chooks all her life. She has just moved into town. When she sells the property she won’t have chooks again.
