La Mère de La Méditerranée
This is a section of the shielded harbour of Collioure in the south of France. “La mer” means “the sea” and it sounds just like “La Mère” which means “the mother”.The great Goddess was once thought to be bourne out of the sea, her name Inanna or Venus!! In direct contact with the water here in Collioure is “Notre Dame des Anges”, again confirming the relationship and the devotion to her as the Great Mother..
La Mère de La Méditerranée belongs to the following groups:
1 In The Beginning - Ancient Practices, All About Water, Core [C.O.R.E], European Everyday Life (add the place!), Feminine Intent (LIMIT TWO IMAGES PER DAY), Religious Art & Photography, THE DIVINE FEMININE, THE SISTERHOOD and à EUROPA! Available for sale asGreeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters
