I don’t think they make belts that small – he might find some room inside a helmet, though!

    :)

  • I wouldn’t let him go without the proper restraints. Someone suggested ‘duct tape’ which we all agreed was appropriate but could be messy… he’ll have to wait for another time…

Hope he enjoyed his short ride! Did you get a ride too?

  • Actually, I wouldn’t let him go without the proper restraints. I mentioned ‘duct tape’ which everyone agreed sounded like it would work but in the end he’ll have to wait for the right equipment! I didn’t get a ride… but I GAVE one! hehe!

You GAVE one? And I bet you did have Maurice hidden in your pocket….He, he….

  • I was afraid he’d be crushed!! The belts are too tight and he’s just a fragile little guy! Haha! So he stayed behind in the trailer. This is what we do together… Dave and I. Some people join country clubs and golf… we buy tires and grind them up having fun scaring ourselves! We’ve been at this since 1983… and are almost done. Time to do something else. I still enjoy getting others started in it though! Will miss it when it’s over ;-( Here’s a pic of Dave checking tire pressures in the morning in the paddock. Blue one is mine… they fit in the trailer nose to tail! Too fun!!

Now ’helmetheads" makes more sense!! Very cool stuff! Maurice can always fly south if there is trouble on the track – though duct tape sounds very fitting :)

  • (Hehe!!) I had so much fun with the little yellow ducks at the track! They are a real conversation starter, for sure!! Oh, the helmets?! Yes, I paint them for drivers… hocky, bikes, any hard helmet. Like painting bowling balls!! lol! I was afraid to put any tape on the little guy! Maybe next time… :-D

  • Hey, Carol! Thanks again, my friend! Yep, this will probably be the last season for the race car… sad… I’ll still drive and teach but this is really expen$ive and time to let somebody else have a turn paying! Haha!
