Concrete and painted stucco decaying. Literally, the foundation of a building with cracks where water has been leaking from inside. On the wall above is a mural which was also decaying. This was captured last year in 2009 and when I saw it this year, it had all be painted over.

I love the colors tones, and such a wonderful composition..

  • Thanks so much, Ms K! Such a shame I found it painted over this year. Maybe by next year it will look like this again!! I can hope! ;-D

Wonderful image. Love the textures and tones in this.

  • Thanks, AuntDot! OK, it reminds me of a painter… (like the Escher-like image)… only its ‘Hieronymus Bosch’… garden of earthly delights… heaven and hell… It’s sort of unearthly fantasy-like… yes? no?

    Great shot Susana!

  • Thanks, Pete! I’ve been chatting with AuntieD about whether is looks like a Hieronymus Bosch fantasy… otherworldly. What does the art professor think? ;-)

Art professor!?? : ) Believe it or not, the first thing I thought of when I looked at it was ice cream. But now that you mention it…I can see a little Boschness (strange word) to it….Boschness Monster…no…I didn’t really just write that did I?
    : )

  • Yes, you really did and I’m going to steal it! OK, lunchtime… ice cream it is!! power of suggestion!

Great abstract – looks like the underground system of tunnels of some kind of animal…

  • Underground, yes… indeed… a little creepy! Thanks much, M!!

    Nice one Susana.

  • Thanks, Gary!! Much appreciated. Can you imagine that I found it all freshly painted this year on vacation? So sad!
