Thanks, K! I’m finding Painter X with my Cintique monitor to be the most like the real thing. I used a photo to create a palet of colors I wanted to use. Then used just those and modified as I needed as I painted. I think the limiting of the palet for me helped ‘focus’ the image I was looking for. Thanks so much for your comments.
