Wow this is fantastic, I thought it was a photo at first, you have a great eye for detail and composition and it shows in your paintings and photos, well done. Elle
Thank you, Elle. I am an illustrator, and will always will be one even when I’m looking through the camera, I guess.

This is a beautiful painting! I love the movement and flow of the paint, and your lovely shadows, as well as the composition.
Thank you so much, Angie! I really appreciate your comments! Susana
This is indeed beautiful. I feel the tropical “slow down and enjoy life” attitude of the scene. Love the implanted swirls and swishes, they take my eyes to pretty places. Soft and elegant, your brushes are your friends.
Oh, yes! This is my refuge!!! My heart’s home! So happy that you see all that in my simple white chair. (I’m so very pleased to meet you, Mr.Joe!) S.
OH I LOVE THIS!!! I so much admire your talent!
How did I miss this my dear? Thank you so much! This is like finding a hidden gift! xx?

Many thanks, John! My paintings and photographs from St Martin are among my own favorites! Must be the happiness I feel there! It’s starting to feel like ‘home’ even if it is only a few weeks each year. Yes… you are right… being able to put yourself in a picture makes it meaningful… for me, the empty chair waits for my return… a symbol of the hope of returning! ?
Thank you so very much, Debbie-anne! You are really kind to leave such a nice comment! :))
