a juxtaposition of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, and Marilyn Monroe (a.k.a. Norma Jeane Mortensen).

this image is about the women (legitimate & alleged) in President J.F.K.’s life; the resemblance between these two women is striking to say the least.

This is simply a brilliant creation that’s flawlessly executed. Having met several people that knew both of these women closely, it’s easy to know that they really were cut from the same cloth; they only started from different life situations. You’ve captured this in more ways than one. This work is intelligent, universal, poignant, iconic and simply beautiful.

1985, your comment is insightful and relating exactly to the intention that i was getting at in my effort.
these two girls were so alike, in so many ways, but from such different worlds; either is an iconic incarnation of the american (1960s) democratic dream.

    thank you so much.
