Off The Map | Wood Lane by hellocali

Currently unavailable for purchase

Off The Map pays tribute to the London Underground’s disused stations. To commemorate 150 years of the Tube, ten original artworks bring to life their history and their secrets, allowing people to discover the stories behind the Underground’s forgotten stations.

Wood Lane (1908 – 1947)
Originally part of the depot for the Central Line, Wood Lane station opened with two platforms, later operated with four and finally closed when White City was opened slightly further along the line.

Today, one platform can still be seen in a tunnel when leaving White City. However, developments to the area have meant the other three platforms have disappeared.
