Off The Map pays tribute to the London Underground’s disused stations. To commemorate 150 years of the Tube, ten original artworks bring to life their history and their secrets, allowing people to discover the stories behind the Underground’s forgotten stations.

Down Street (1907 – 1932)
Nearby Hyde Park Corner and Dover Street (now Green Park) meant Down Street was often overlooked by commuters. Due to lack of demand the station disappeared from service in 1932.

Today, the station is hidden away by a brick wall. It can still be seen when traveling on the Piccadilly Line; look out the right side of the train between Green Park and Hyde Park Corner station.
