Off The Map | British Museum by

Off The Map pays tribute to the London Underground’s disused stations. To commemorate 150 years of the Tube, ten original artworks bring to life their history and their secrets, allowing people to discover the stories behind the Underground’s forgotten stations.

British Museum (1900 – 1933)
After closure, British Museum station was used in filming for Bulldog Jack – during which the station was renamed Bloomsbury.

Today the classic platform tiling, famous across the London Underground can still be seen from passing tube trains (although it is a little dirty). Keep your eye out on the right-hand-side between Holborn and Tottenham Court Road.
