this is about constant pain……..like being split in half and someone hammered a million little nails all over your body…. it can get so bad i feel like the soul escapes the body just to run from it ..

It has the pang of the Frida Khalo´s works… the object of pain is oneself…
One would like to get ride of it..
but he most os place it “outside” and contemplate it with compassion..
and in this way make bereable the unbereable. It is wonderful expressive and intense
Rosa
thnx so much rosa

Astonishing work reminiscent of Frida Kahlo in spirit but not in style.
thx

I get the Frida Kahlo references, as I am intrigued by this work, but I also find it somewhat disturbing. Frida’s work has also captured me in quite the same way. She is one of my favorite artists. I guess I have issues with pain? peace…
well i live with pain constant pain…i have found that painting about some way relieves me…it has become my medication and means of coping, i found it not only helped my physical state but the reality of my life in every form….guess thats why i have over 500 paintings lol

Well, when you put it that way, it works for me! I so happy to hear that art is bringing you joy, and helping you to deal with the pain, I understand, I too deal with a non-physical pain on a daily basis. Keep at it! Peace…
