silent screams
acryl on canvasthis is dedicated to my brother who commited suicide when he was 44 yrs old…i tried to imagine how he was feeling inside since he didnt tell us…so we need to pay close attention to our loved ones because we never know what might be goin on with them and before we are judgemental of their behaviour we should be open minded enough to try and think deeper than what is obvious on the surface…...............wow… i miss my brother….....but i feel his presence always….i think he is happy now

Exaggerrating the facial features and limiting the color pallette projects to the viewer the feeling of anguish of being trapped emotionally on the inside as well as outside.

Condolences. Life can be very hard to cope with at times, no matter how strong we think we are.
This artwork really conveys a facial expression that’s almost identical to that of experiencing physical pain. Pain in the souls heart is very real and very powerful and this piece depicts that fact very clearly.

Thx for that … this image, is what I call “dark” inner, on 1st viewing, it reminded me of a painting one of my “clients” did many years ago … which was called “Spirit Gone” ... it was how she felt/believed her life was … the image was so power-full … the context/clarity has stayed with me … I wrote a poem also called “Spirit Gone” based on that exchange/experience on her expression … fortunately … she lives, and no longer feels/believe that mis-truth.
As you know, we have spoken briefly about “Sensitives” .... further to this, I intuit, your sensitivities/nature, and your ability … dare I say “gift” to bring some of that out through your art-worx … given the “context” of the how/why this image came about … it has “served” its purpose, and it seems you have achieved what you have stated this image was designed/expresed to do … ANGUISH, AGONY, and such-like.

thank u so much crow….appreciate ur thorough interpretation….will go now to check out that poem of urs…hope its posted here on the bubble

your image strikes the mood so-well and your words TRUTH. Sometimes people dont show their emotions but at the same time are shouting out for help. Its hard to read the silence sadly sometimes!

yes it is..thnx again

thanks also, you have told a story from both sides of this tragedy through 1 image.
i admire how you gathered so much emotion , sorrow and pain and captured this piece, probably because you had to, or bringing it out hopefully gave some relief.
Thanks so much
